Simulations of gas laws. click here  and another webiste showing animations for gas laws click here

Gas Laws simulation.  Pump gas molecules into a box and see what happens as you change the volume, add or remove heat, change temperature and more. Measure the temperature and pressure, and discover how the properties of the gas vary in relation to each other.

video: collapsing can.  Water is allowed to boil in the can, then the can is inverted in cold water. This cools the water vapor trapped in the can.  Watch and explain what happens to the can using your model of pressure and collisions.

Hydrogen gas is collected in the reaction of magneisum and hydrocloric acid.  The volume of the gas is measured and the idealgas law is applied to calculate the moles of hydrogen gas collected.  Stoichiometry is applied to calculate the expected yield and percent yield.
